Nishant Singh is a partner in the General Corporate practice Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas. He specialises in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, fund formation, and structured finance.

Over the past 22 years, he has worked on a wide array of equity and debt financing transactions across multiple sectors and countries. In the equity investment space, he has worked on a variety of transactions including M&A, public company takeover, going private or de-listing, PIPE, SPAC, JV, PE (minority and control buyout), and distressed buyout via IBC or OTS. On the debt investment side, he has advised on acquisition financing, special situations funding, offshore structured financing, promoter financing, and real estate financing.

Nishant has represented clients – PE funds, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, strategic players – on some of the most significant transactions in the market involving bulge bracket deal value, first-of-its-kind, complexity, and unique structures.
