• Represented L Catterton in its 2018 acquisition of (and 2022 exit from) the Impresario hospitality business (housing brands such as ‘Social’ and ‘Smoke House Deli’) and portfolio investment into the multi-brand retail business of Future Lifestyle (housing the ‘Central’ and ‘Brand Factory’ brands).
• Represented Insight Enterprises Inc. in its maiden investment into India (100% acquisition of Hanu Software Solutions Private Limited) in 2022 and platform-level acquisitions of the Infocenter and SADA businesses.
• Represented the Kishore Bajaj family in the sale of their hospitality business (the franchise rights to operate ‘Hakkasan’, ‘Yauatcha’ and ‘Nara Thai’ restaurants in India, and their home-grown ‘CinCin’ restaurant) to Aditya Birla.
• Represented Marubeni in their 2020 investment in Atmosphere Realty, marking Marubeni’s foray into Indian real estate, and their exit in 2025.
• Represented Artal regarding their investments in Capital Foods Private Limited, Jumbotail Technologies Private Limited and Tipping Mr Pink Private Limited.
• Represented Archian Foods, manufacturer and retailer of Indian traditional flavoured carbonated beverages under brands such as ‘Lahori Zeera’ and ‘Lahori Nimboo’, on a financial investment by the Motilal Oswal group.
• Represented Brookfield Asset Management in its acquisition of the Leela brand and hotel businesses from the distressed HLV Limited, a listed company engaged in the luxury hospitality business.
• Represented Unifocus LP (a portfolio company of The Riverside Company) in its acquisition of Knowcross Solutions (digital task management and operational optimisation services provider).
• Represented Sumitomo Chemicals Co. Limited, in its acquisition of control of Excel Crop Care Limited (a listed entity engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of agrochemicals).
• Represented ResMed Limited in the India-leg acquisition of Somnoware (providing software development services relating to sleep study software).
• Represented IDBI Bank Limited in its divestment from IDBI Federal Life Insurance Company by way of sale to Ageas Insurance and Federal Bank.
