Atika has extensive experience representing clients in complex corporate, civil, and commercial disputes across various courts and tribunals including the Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, Mumbai, National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai, National Company Appellate Law Tribunal, New Delhi, the Securities Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai, and the National Green Tribunal.

- Successfully represented a foreign investor in an international commercial arbitration, involving the investor’s exit, including in proceedings for interim reliefs before the Bombay High Court under Section 9 of the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- Successfully represented the promoters of a public company before the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal in oppression and mismanagement proceedings under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Successfully represented a public trust in breach of contract and recovery proceedings before the Bombay High Court and in enforcement and recognition of a foreign judgment against the counter party across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advised a foreign client in LCIA arbitration proceedings arising from a joint venture dispute in the mining sector, involving claims for breach of contract and damages and in enforcement proceedings in multiple jurisdictions.
- Advised in arbitration proceedings instituted by a leading venture capitalist fund in Mumbai, before the arbitral tribunal and representing the venture capitalist fund in execution proceedings for enforcement of orders and the award passed by the Arbitral Tribunal.
- Represented an insurance company in a foreign seated arbitration in a contractual dispute involving breach of contract filed by the insured and in challenge proceedings instituted against the award
- Successfully represented a non-banking financial company, in proceedings before the Securities Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai, challenging an order passed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India concerning pledge of securities granted in favour of the client
- Advised and appeared in proceedings filed against a client by the counter party claiming breach of a non-disclosure agreement, tortious interference and damages.
- Advised and appeared in proceedings filed against a client before the National Green Tribunal seeking to set aside environmental clearance granted in favour of the client
- Successfully represented a client in a trademark infringement suit including in applications seeking injunctive reliefs.
