Anirudh Das is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., New Delhi, with over 30 years of experience in commercial disputes, international arbitration and civil litigation.
His practice encompasses complex contractual and corporate disputes before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, the NCLAT, NCLTs and arbitral tribunals across multiple jurisdictions.
Anirudh has extensive experience in international commercial arbitrations seated in India, Singapore, England and Malaysia, including ICC and ad hoc arbitrations. He advises on disputes arising under production sharing contracts, power purchase agreements, supply contracts, EPC contracts and financial indebtedness. He handles proceedings for enforcement and setting aside of foreign and domestic arbitral awards, as well as cross-border restructuring disputes.
His litigation practice covers regulatory challenges under foreign exchange laws, disputes concerning government action and due process, and constitutional matters before the superior courts. He also advises on corporate restructuring, including schemes of arrangement, mergers, de-mergers and shareholder/creditor restructuring under the Companies Act.
Anirudh holds an LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University and a B.Com (Hons.) from Delhi University. He is a member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association.
