Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised TheMathCompany Private Limited (the “Company”) on the acquisition of a significant minority stake by Brighton Park Capital (“BPC”) through primary investment in the Company. Existing investor, Arihant Patni family participated in the fundraising. The Company has raised USD 50 million in funding.

The transaction team was led by Abhishek Guha, Partner; Jagriti Mohata, Counsel; Shashank Prabhakar, Principal Associate; and Amrita Ghosh, Associate.

E&Y advised the Company and the promoters on tax related matters. Avendus Capital Private Limited acted as the financial advisors to the Company and the promoters. E&Y acted as the tax advisors to Brighton Park Capital.
