Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advises the Indian infrastructure fund of Morgan Stanley to invest in LEAP India

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised the Indian infrastructure fund of Morgan Stanley (“Investor”) to acquire a stake in LEAP India Private Limited (“LEAP India”). The Investor has made an investment of INR 180 Crores in LEAP India, by way of subscription to and acquisition of compulsorily convertible preference shares of LEAP India. LEAP India is India’s largest pallet pooling company.
The transaction team and due diligence team was led by Nivedita Tiwari, Partner and comprised of Nandini Seth, Principal Associate; Taruna Dhingra, Senior Associate; and Ayushi Mishra, Associate. The competition law analysis was undertaken by Aparna Mehra, Partner and Abhiruchi Jhawar, Associate.
