Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised The Blackstone Group Inc. (Blackstone) on the competition law aspects of their acquisition of the glass packaging business of Piramal Glass Private Limited and its shareholding in certain subsidiaries and Vivid Glass Trading FZCO & the acquisition of certain businesses of Ansapack Private Limited. The deal is valued at 1 billion USD. The date of filing with the Competition Commission of India was 24 December 2020.
