Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. Advises Sembcorp Green Infra Private Limited on ~INR 1,700 crore acquisition from ReNew Private Limited

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) acted as legal counsel to Sembcorp Green Infra Private Limited (“Sembcorp”) in connection with its ~INR 1,700 crore (USD 190 million) acquisition of 100% stake in ReNew Sun Bright Private Limited (which owns and operates a 300MW solar power asset in Rajasthan) from ReNew Private Limited (“Renew”).

The transaction was led by Partners, Jatin Aneja (Partner and National Practice Head – Infrastructure, Energy and Project Finance) and Dhrupad Pant (Partner), along with Ishita Sehgal (Principal Associate), Suryansh Srivastava (Associate), and Pratyush Gupta (Associate), Abhishek Choudhary (Associate), and Khushi Joshi (Associate).
