Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advises Power Finance Corporation Limited on its ₹2,716 crore financing of ACME Sigma Urja’s Solar and BESS Project

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. acted as legal counsel to Power Finance Corporation Limited in connection with the financing of a large-scale solar photovoltaic power project with a battery energy storage system undertaken by ACME Sigma Urja Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle promoted by ACME Solar Holdings Limited.

The transaction involved the provision of a rupee term loan of ₹2,716 crore by Power Finance Corporation Limited for setting up and implementing a 300 MWAC / 783 MWDC solar photovoltaic project with 1,356 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Chittorgarh district, Rajasthan, India. The financing documents were signed on 24 December 2025, and the funds were disbursed on 30 December 2025.

Power Finance Corporation Limited was advised by Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. as lenders’ counsel, while ACME Sigma Urja Private Limited and ACME Solar Holdings Limited were advised by their in-house legal team.
