Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advises Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited on USD 3 Billion LNG agreement with ADNOC gas subsidiary

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (“SAM”) acted as legal counsel to Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (“HPCL”) in connection with a long-term Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Sale and Purchase Agreement worth approximately USD 3 billion entered into with Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company (“ALNG”), a subsidiary of ADNOC Gas.
The transaction involves HPCL’s purchase of LNG valued at around USD 3 billion over a 10-year period, strengthening India’s long-term energy security and supporting the country’s growing demand for natural gas.
