Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised Continuum Energy Levanter Pte. Ltd to issue green bonds bearing a coupon rate of 4.5% due 2027 (“Notes”) as listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. The deal is valued at US$ 561 million. The date of closing was 09 February 2021.
The bond offering was anchored by IFC Washington and was offered to eligible investors being qualified institutional buyers within the United States in reliance on Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933 (the “Securities Act”) and offshore of the United States in accordance with regulations under the Securities Act.
The green bond is successfully launched a day after the budget announcement with a strong demand, resulting in an order book of over $3 billion.
