Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM & Co) advised Beejapuri Dairy Private Limited in their Series C round of funding. The transaction comprised of both a primary and secondary investment. The New investors, Elevation Capital and IIFL Private Equity Fund, and the existing investors Matrix Partners and Orios Venture Partners, subscribed to certain compulsorily convertible preference shares and equity shares of Country Delight and purchased secondary shares from angel investors. The deal is valued at approx. USD 25 million approx. The date of closing was 25 November, 2020.
