Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Co advises Norwest Venture Partners in Series E investment in Veritas Finance Pvt. Ltd.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Norwest Venture Partners in its Series E Investment in Veritas Finance Private Limited. The deal is worth approx. USD 48.7 million. SAM has previously acted for Norwest in its earlier investment into Veritas Finance.

Norwest is a leading multi-stage investment firm managing approximately USD 9.5 billion in capital. The firm invests in early to late stage companies across a wide range of sectors with a focus on consumer, enterprise and healthcare. Chennai based Veritas Finance is an NBFC primarily engaged in the business of lending to micro, small, medium enterprises, across eight states and one union territory.
