Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advises PVR Limited and Axis Capital Limited in its issuance of rights equity shares

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM & Co.) acted as the domestic legal counsel to the rights issue undertaken by PVR Limited for the issuance of 38,23,872 equity shares of face value of ₹ 10 each (“Rights Equity Shares”) for cash at a price of ₹ 784 per rights equity share aggregating to ₹ 299.79 crore.
The rights equity shares were offered to the eligible equity shareholders in the ratio of 7 rights equity shares for every 94 equity shares held by such eligible equity shareholders as on July 10, 2020, being the record date.
