MCA clarification wrt CSR expenditure on Covid-19 activities
January 14, 2021The MCA has issued further clarification with respect to spending of CSR funds for Covid-19, that, the spending of CSR funds for carrying out awareness campaigns or public outreach campaigns on Covid-19 vaccination programme is an eligible CSR activity under item nos. (i), (ii) and (xii) of Schedule VII of the Companies Act 2013, relating to promotion of healthcare including preventive healthcare, sanitisation, promoting education and disaster management, respectively.
