In a panel discussion on “Gender & Empowerment: Breaking the glass ceiling & going beyond “ at the India Economic Conclave 2021, our Managing Partner, Pallavi Shroff, alongwith Ms Smriti Irani, Minister of Women & Child Development and Textiles shared insights on various aspects of women leadership. The panel discussed at length the impact that women are making in the corporate and political world; women empowerment and the gender issues at workplace and other professional challenges faced by women. The discussion was moderated by veteran journalist Navika Kumar from Times Now.
The panel elaborated the challenges related to exercising authority and whether gender is a factor in getting things done. Views were also exchanged about the role that age, past experiences and gender play in the corporate world as well as the political landscape.
