Dr. Rajeev Uberoi, Lalan Gupta and Amruta Kelkar join Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (“SAM & Co.”) is pleased to announce that Dr. Rajeev Uberoi has joined SAM & Co. as Senior Advisor. He will be based out of the Mumbai office. In the past, Dr. Uberoi has worked in leadership roles at Yes Bank and IDFC Bank where he headed the Legal function and was responsible for compliance, vigilance and operational risk governance.

We are also pleased to share that Lalan Gupta and Amruta Kelkar have also joined as Partners in the firm’s Dispute Resolution and General Corporate practice, respectively. Lalan has over 12 years of core litigation experience and his key practice areas encompass Dispute Resolution, with a focus on Litigation on both the Original and Appellate jurisdictions and Domestic Arbitrations, Mediation & Conciliation. Amruta has over 12 years of experience in Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions both in domestic and cross-border transactions. She has immense experience in diverse sectors ranging from real estate, healthcare, hospitality, financial services and education.
