He has extensive experience in real estate advisory, land acquisitions, joint ventures, including diligence of land spanning 1200 million sq. ft. area across 60+ cities in India which includes legal due diligence of approximately 27,00,000 square meters of commercial space, 10,000 acres of residential township projects, 7,200 acres for IPOs, 9,700 acres for SEZs and 1,000 acres for warehousing projects.
Rohit has been involved with advising clients on all aspects of real estate transactions including in respect of investment in real estate sector; diligence of land and buildings for setting up of stores, warehouses, retail and commercial spaces; advisory on purchasing, selling, leasing, licensing, joint development, development management arrangements; advising private equity investors, real estate developers, institutional lenders, borrowers in real estate transactions; advisory in relation to Land Acquisition Act, Real Estate Regulation Act, Registration Act, Stamp Duty Act, Transfer of Property Act and other legislations pertaining to properties; advisory to various High Net Worth Individuals for purchase of properties across India and day to day regulatory issues.
He has advised almost all prominent developers on various projects across India and has been instrumental in consummation of various transactions vis-à-vis acquiring land, due diligence, drafting of definitive documents, etc. He has advised large number of private equity funds and foreign companies in relation to their joint ventures in India with Indian developers in construction development projects. These projects include residential townships, commercial complexes, shopping malls, mixed use projects etc.
