Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advises Power Finance Corporation on INR 4,929 Crores financing of hybrid renewable energy project

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised Power Finance Corporation Limited on a term loan facility of INR 4,929 crores granted to Juniper Green Stellar Private Limited (Borrower) for setting up a solar-wind hybrid renewable energy project with battery energy storage system (BESS). The project comprises 468.30 MW wind, 265 MW/397.5 MWp solar, and 103 MW/206 MWh BESS capacities, located in Barmer, Rajasthan and Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat. The transaction was signed on 14 November 2024 and is expected to close by 30 June 2025.
