Vishruta Kaul is part of the General Corporate practice of the Firm and is based out of its Gurugram office.
Vishruta focusses on M&A, private equity, venture capital and restructuring transactions. Vishruta has represented diverse stakeholders including promoters, investors, companies, sellers and buyers in over 150 transactions in industries ranging from entertainment, e-commerce, retail, healthcare, financial services / NBFCs, manufacturing, tractors, services, logistics, renewable energy. Apart from her expertise on inbound and domestic transactions, she advises Indian companies on their foreign investments and acquisitions and has successfully project managed multiple investments by Indian acquirers in overseas jurisdictions.
Vishruta also regularly advises clients on various legal issues such as corporate governance, capital restructuring, compliance, exchange control and other government regulations. Vishruta is currently authoring a paper on the challenges of cross border mergers, which have been recently permitted in India.
