Siddhartha Sen
Siddhartha Sen is a Partner at the Firm and specialises in Projects and Project Finance practice.
Siddhartha has worked on transactions and several cross-border acquisitions involving foreign direct investment, private equity and venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, in varied sectors including power, roads, airport, real estate and oil and gas sector.
Siddhartha joined the Firm in July 2007 and has been involved in structuring of transactions, drafting and negotiations for finalisation of transaction documentation. He also interacts with governmental and regulatory authorities such as the Reserve Bank of India, the Foreign Investment Promotion Board, the Department for Industrial Policy and Promotion.

- GMR Infrastructure Limited and GMR Airport Holdings Limited, in relation to an investment of approximately INR 1500 crores by multiple investors, (amongst others) Macquarie SBI Infrastructure Fund, Standard Chartered Private Equity, JM Financials, and the pursuant group restructuring and consolidation of the GMR Group airport holdings under GMR Airport Holdings Limited.
- 3C Developers in relation to a series of related investment transactions, aggregating in excess of INR 800 crores by Red Fort Capital in multiple 3C project SPVs developing residential and commercial projects.
- Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation in relation to the investment by SWAN Mills Ltd. of approximately INR 400 crores.
- DEG (Deutsche Investitions-und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH) and FMO (Nederlandse Financierings- Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V.) on their investment of INR 125 crores (initially 92 crores) into Calcom Cements India Limited.
- Macquarie SBI Investment Fund in relation to its proposed investment of approximately INR 400 crores in an infrastructure company holding multiple road projects.
