She works closely on inbound and outbound mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions in the pharmaceuticals and medical devices sector, chemicals and manufacturing sector and information technology sector. Jagriti has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions involving public listed companies as well as private deals and has worked extensively in structuring and executing inbound foreign investments into India.
Jagriti has advised on transactions such as the acquisition by Anupam Rasayan India Limited of the joint control of Tanfac Industries Limited followed by a tender open offer, the acquisition by ZNZ Pharma (a platform entity of British International Investments, European Bank of Reconstruction and Development and Development Partners International) of Celon Laboratories Private Limited, the investment round of TheMathCompany, the sale by MAS Holdings, Sri Lanka of the “amante” fashion lingerie business entities to Reliance Retail, Rossari Biotech Limited’s various acquisitions and joint ventures, McDonald’s India joint venture termination and settlement of disputes, Maa TV’s sale of its broadcasting business to Star India and Mylan Inc.’s acquisition of Agila Specialties.
